Do you wash your hair regular? Clean your teeth? Make an effort to look nice on a daily basis? Apply some make-up to make yourself feel and look more human? All of these things we do every day and do it without a second thought. It is not considered a chore or too much of an effort to do these things, it is part of our every day routine.
So why if we do these things and do not even bat an eye lid when we do them, do we find or see losing weight and exercising as too much effort? Something we simply cannot commit to or be bothered to even start. Filling our heads with all sorts of excuses such as, I’ll start tomorrow or I have not got the time. If we have time to brush our teeth or wash our hair and apply make-up then surely we can fit in a bit of weight loss too?
As obesity is becoming an ever increasing problem and the average dress size goes up. Does this make it easier to ignore the fact that we are overweight as when we look around we see fellow humans that are in need of losing some weight. Or the fact that people are becoming bigger we don’t realise just how big we have got. So many times you hear celebrities saying how they are comfortable with their body and not bothered that they are overweight, only to see them in a few months time going on a drastic diet.
Losing weight should not be difficult to do. Yes, it can be a struggle to start with as you will undoubtedly have voices in your head telling you the opposite of what you need to do. As time goes by these voices will become less and less, especially as when the weight does come off your willpower and determination with grow. With this comes added confidence, before you know it you will be able to fit into the clothes you have always wanted.
At the end of the day if you are truly happy with the way you look, whether you are the correct weight, underweight or overweight then that is fantastic. However if you are not then you should do something about it. Remember though losing weight will not happen overnight, it didn’t take the short a time period to put it on so it certainly won’t come off that quick.
Choosing the correct weight loss plan is key and also having the correct support around you will certainly help. Although don’t feel you will fail if you are doing this by yourself, this is not the case. If you want to lose weight bad enough and put the effort and focus in then you will succeed in losing weight.
Should you put the time and effort in to losing weight? My answer would be most definitely YES! After all you are worth it!
Losing weight can prove to be difficult at times and maintaining your weight even more harder. However, you are able to find the correct weight loss plan for you and get to your perfect weight!
